Curtis Winans is an accomplished healthcare executive, currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at BridgePoint Healthcare. With extensive experience in leading teams and executing innovative strategies across the care continuum, Curtis has a proven track record of reducing costs, optimizing utilization, and enhancing patient experience. Over his career, he has driven cost savings of up to $64 million through strategic planning, performance management, and effective collaboration.

 

Before joining BridgePoint Healthcare, Curtis held leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente, where he oversaw a $1.1 billion annual budget and led a team of 432 full-time employees. His leadership was instrumental in reducing hospital readmissions, shortening patient length of stay, and scaling innovative care models, which contributed to significant improvements in both patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

 

In addition to his work at Kaiser Permanente, Curtis has held key positions at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Seton Healthcare, focusing on revenue cycle management, operational improvements, and strategic consulting. He holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin.

 

Curtis is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association, demonstrating his commitment to continuous professional growth and the advancement of healthcare.

Aysha Kuhlor

Throughout her career, Aysha has demonstrated a commitment to improving the quality of care for seniors. She has implemented numerous quality improvement initiatives, resulting in enhanced clinical outcomes, reduced hospital readmissions, and high resident and family satisfaction rates. Her leadership extends across interdisciplinary teams, ensuring smooth care transitions and fostering collaboration to address complex resident needs.

Aysha's impressive accomplishments include co-authoring a publication with the National Institute of Health, serving on planning committees with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and being recognized as a leader in post-acute care by various industry organizations. She has also played pivotal roles in reducing antipsychotic medication usage in nursing facilities and developing effective emergency preparedness plans for long-term care.

In addition to her clinical leadership, Aysha has served in executive roles, including Chief Nursing Officer for organizations like Hill Valley Healthcare and Ohana Pacific Management Company. Her efforts have led to the successful implementation of evidence-based practices, training programs, and regulatory compliance across multiple facilities.

Aysha holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Ghana. She is a Post-Acute Care Certified Nurse Executive (PAC NE), with certifications in dementia care, infection control, and nurse leadership.

Samaria R. Washington

Dr. Samaria R. Washington is the Regional Director of SNF Operations at BridgePoint Healthcare, as well as the Interim SNF Administrator of BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital National Harborside. She provides daily operational support, and directs the programs and activities of the region to maintain the highest quality of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.
