Calvin currently serves as Director of Government and Community Relations for BridgePoint Healthcare and Chair of the Ward 8 Health Council. Calvin, is an experienced senior manager and business development leader of issues ranging from homeland security to health and human services. He manages the substance of programs and ensures they are in compliance with federal, state and local statutes. His leadership style is to work effectively and collaborative with all stakeholders, including Board members, senior staff or the community to accomplish the mission. His energy and involvement on all levels have resulted in a proven record of success. He has worked closely with federal, state and local elected and appointed officials, private and nonprofit decision makers around the National Capital Region and respective State houses. Calvin received the Medical Society of DC 2021 John Benjamin Nichols Award for community engagement on behalf of the Ward 8 Health Council.
He holds a BA in Economics from Howard University, and Certificate of Public Administration from George Washington University.
