Curtis Winans is an accomplished healthcare executive, currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at BridgePoint Healthcare. With extensive experience in leading teams and executing innovative strategies across the care continuum, Curtis has a proven track record of reducing costs, optimizing utilization, and enhancing patient experience. Over his career, he has driven cost savings of up to $64 million through strategic planning, performance management, and effective collaboration.

 

Before joining BridgePoint Healthcare, Curtis held leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente, where he oversaw a $1.1 billion annual budget and led a team of 432 full-time employees. His leadership was instrumental in reducing hospital readmissions, shortening patient length of stay, and scaling innovative care models, which contributed to significant improvements in both patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

 

In addition to his work at Kaiser Permanente, Curtis has held key positions at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Seton Healthcare, focusing on revenue cycle management, operational improvements, and strategic consulting. He holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin.
